I am Darius, a Berlin-based tech and nature enthusiast from Transylvania, Romania.
What I do
My background isn’t exactly a conventional tech one, but I found my way into software engineering.
Over the years, I've collaborated on web and mobile apps, APIs, internal tools, admin platforms, and third-party integrations.
These days, I split my time between product and engineering. I enjoy working across the stack, but I tend to spend most of my time on the backend.
I mainly code in Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#, and have also explored C, Python, and Go. Lately, I’ve been fascinated by Cybersecurity and can’t help but look at software through that lens.

Beyond the screen
Beyond tech, I'm passionate about far too many things: gardening, psychology, social engineering, dogs with sunglasses, and dog-watching, among others.
